Hiatus.
If you're a music fan like me, it's probably a term you know all too well. It's that unpredictable term used by bands that says: "We don't hate each other enough to break up, but we don't love each other enough to stay together for the foreseeable future."
Which is pretty much what it sums up for me. For the past nearly two years, I've chronicled my music adventures and shared bands I love simply as a music fan. But I want this blog to be something more. While I've tried to figure out what that means, I've decided until I can put my full (or at least more) attention into this adventure, it's best to put it on hold for the time being.
At the same time, I'm in the midst of some major life changes personally. With those life changes come other writing projects I'm anxious to focus my attention on, and rather than having this space suffer like it has for the past few months I'd rather declare hiatus and return when I'm ready to continue forward.
So consider this my official hiatus notice. I'm sure I'll pop in on Twitter from time to time, so if you don't already follow me feel free to start now. If you have suggestions and ideas or just general hate mail (I'm looking at you, Melanie) send them my way via e-mail, Facebook or Twitter. In the mean time I hope you'll continue going to shows and finding new bands to love just like I plan to do - because even if I'm not writing about it, being a music fan is something I could never walk away from.
xoxo,
The Good Groupie
